ISDC manufactures precision blackbody radiation sources for MWIR and LWIR radiometric calibration, infrared detector characterization, focal plane array (FPA) testing, and IR system integration. All models emit calibrated Planck (thermal) radiation and are available with NIST-traceable calibration. Flat-plate emitters with 12″ × 12″ active area and high-emissivity coating (0.96), plus thermoelectric (TE) cooled compact models for sub-ambient operation. Ideal for FPA non-uniformity correction (NUC), thermal imager calibration, and large-target IR scene simulation.
