Blackbody Radiation Sources & Infrared Calibration Sources

Cavity and extended-area blackbody simulators for MWIR and LWIR radiometric calibration, infrared detector characterization, focal plane array (FPA) testing, and IR system integration. All models emit calibrated Planck (thermal) radiation and are available with NIST-traceable calibration. Typical applications include NETD measurement, D* (specific detectivity) characterization, non-uniformity correction (NUC) of focal plane arrays, FTIR spectroscopy reference sources, and IR target signature simulation.
